National Day of Prayer

For 2015 May 7 is the National Day of Prayer. The first Thursday of May is designated as the annual National Day of Prayer. This year’s theme is 1 Kings 8:28

“Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day.”

Today, like never before, we need to pray to God, Our Father, in the name of His Beloved, Son Jesus Christ. We must pray without ceasing to Him by having a prayer in our hearts at all times. We must utter a sincere prayer of gratitude and pleading each morning, noon, and at night. We depend upon Him for all our blessings. The world and society have and are turning away from God and God is not pleased; hence, famine, war, pestilence, anger, division, lovers of sin more than lovers of God.

In today’s world we are living in the perfect fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy recorded in Isaiah 5:20-21

20 ¶Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

May we “trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

A New Beginning

Life After Death

Clark Adams experienced a New Beginning on July 26, and as a result, today a Memorial Service was held in behalf of Clark Golden Adams, Jr. Clark passed away on July 26, 2014, while attending a family reunion in Utah. He is survived by his wife, Jill, three daughters, his father, and a sister. Clark is now in the Spirit World, where the spirits of all people go when they experience death-the separation of the spirit and physical body. In holy temples of the Lord, covenants and ordinances are made to enable a person to live forever in the presence of God.

“And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.”

The Good Ole Summer Time

School is out for most students, and they are now enjoying “The Good Ole Summer Time.” It is a time to relax, read, evaluate the past year’s peaks and valleys, make plans for the new school year, to read Life Planning Goals daily, to take a college course, attend summery school, take an online class, travel, play sports, hike, or do a multitude of activities.

Enjoy it while you can, because before you know it, you will hear the school bell ringing and it will be time to report back to school.

Above all, remember to always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7.

The American Dream is now The American Nightmare

What has happened to the American Dream? Where is the “Government of the people, by the people, for the  people? You can’t find it anymore due to the current incompetent Supreme Court personnel and others that are destroying our one time marvelous United States of America. Our country is spiraling downward at a rapid pace due to top government leadership-sad but true. Recall President Lincoln’s  incredible address that reveals:

“that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”
(Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address)

American governance, as Lincoln envisioned, is gone because of a few current leaders.

The American Dream is becoming

HPHS Class of 2011 graduation took place Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Home Depot Tennis Center in Carson, California where 600+ students received his/her high school diploma. Steve Haymore was the keynote speaker. Approximately 6000 were in attendance.
