2 Nephi 25:26 “We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ”
We come alive in Christ through faith in Him. Talking of Christ and preaching of Christ increases our faith. In this mortal life we live by faith; whereas, in our premortal life we lived more so by sight, for there we saw and lived with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ as we dwelt in their presence.
Faith in the living Christ is the first principle of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. His life “is central to all human history,” for “he is the light, the life, and the hope of the world” (see “The Living Christ” by modern day apostles and prophets). Coming unto Christ is to come unto the standard of Christ, striving to become like Him.
